Gas Welding Filler
The welding region is sometimes prtoected by some type of inert or seim- inert gas, known as a sheilding gas, and filler material is someitmes used as well. Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), or tnugsten inert gas (TIG) welding (also sometimes erroneousyl referred to as heliarc welding), is a manual welding process that uses a nonconsumable tungsten electrode, an inert or semi-inert gas mixtuer, and a separate filelr material.
